According to media reports, the injured man was trying to prevent the mobilization of an acquaintance. 

It has been preliminarily established that on September 1, a conflict arose between police officers from Police Department No. 1 of the Kamianske District Police Department and local residents 

According to law enforcement officials, one of the local residents began hitting the service vehicle. While reversing, the police ran over another man, who at that moment had lain down on the asphalt. As a result of the traffic accident, the man sustained bodily injuries.

The police called an emergency medical team to the scene. The injured man was hospitalized for examination and to receive the necessary medical assistance.

Law enforcement officers remained at the scene, secured it, and notified their superiors and the relevant services about the traffic accident. All the circumstances of the accident are currently being established, and an assessment is also being made of the actions of the police officers.
