Ukrainian troops withstood 81 combat engagements over the last day. Our defenders repelled most of the attacks in the Bakhmut, Avdiivka and Novopavlivka sectors. The General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine reported on the current situation, UNN reports.
Over the last day, 81 combat engagements were registered. In total, the enemy launched 2 missile and 72 air strikes, fired 116 times from multiple launch rocket systems at Ukrainian troops' positions and localities.

In the Bakhmut sector, our troops repelled 24 attacks. The Russians tried to improve their tactical position by advancing with air support near Bilohorivka in Luhansk region, as well as Verkhnekamianske, Spirne, Vyymka, Rozdolivka, Chasovyi Yar, Ivanivske and Klishchiyivka in Donetsk region.
In the Avdiivka sector, the occupants stormed our positions 16 times. The invaders tried to force our units out of their positions near Novokalynove, Novobakhmutivka, Berdychiv, Pervomayske and Netaylove.
In the Novopavlivka sector, our defenders repelled 19 enemy attacks. Ukrainian defense forces continue to hold back the enemy near Heorhiivka, Novomykhailivka, Kostiantynivka and Vodiane in Donetsk region.
In the Orikhivsk sector, the enemy, with the support of aviation, attacked the positions of our defenders three times. All attacks took place in the area of Staromayorske, Donetsk region.
In the Kherson sector, the enemy does not abandon its intention to push our units out of the footholds on the left bank of the Dnipro River. There were 5 unsuccessful attacks on the positions of our troops near Krynky, Kherson region.

Over the course of the day, Ukrainian aviation conducted 12 strikes on Russian positions and destroyed four enemy air defense systems. Ukrainian air defense shot down one X-59 guided missile in the sky. This is probably the missilethat the occupiers launched at Kryvyi Rih.
In addition, soldiers from missile and artillery units took out 2 air defense systems and another electronic warfare station in Russia.
