Argentine investors will develop viticulture and craft winemaking in the Borodyn community of Odesa Oblast by leasing vineyards and receiving tax benefits from local authorities.
Viticulture and craft winemaking will be developed on the territory of the Borodyn community in the Odesa region. This was reported by the Odesa Regional State Administration, according to UNN.
"Argentine investors will be engaged in viticulture and craft winemaking in the Borodino community. We have already leased 84 hectares of existing vineyards and purchased an additional 20 hectares for a new vineyard.
Investors have received benefits from local authorities, including exemptions from land tax and rent for the period of reconstruction or construction," the statement said.
According to the head of the local community, Ivan Kusse, this will create favorable conditions for business and economic development. Currently, the company employs about 20 people in the vineyards, and the first results are expected this fall.
