Due to the surplus of electricity in Ukraine, the production of electricity from renewable energy sources was again limited, but there is no shortage. In the Lviv region, a power outage at a substation cut off electricity to residents of one village. The backup line supplying Zaporizhzhia NPP remains de-energized. This was reported by the Ministry of Energy on Monday, UNN reports.
Generation
"Due to favorable weather conditions and active electricity generation by solar power plants, on Sunday, at the command of the dispatcher of NPC Ukrenergo, the restriction of RES generation was again applied from 9:31 to 16:30 with a capacity of 2226 MW," the statement said.
"No shortage of electricity is expected for the current day either," the Ministry of Energy said on social media.
As indicated, a TPP unit has been put out of service for emergency repairs. The company has 10 units and 2 buildings of thermal power plants in reserve, which will be used if necessary. Commercial electricity imports and exports are planned.
"The situation is under control. The system is balanced. No outage schedules are applied," the statement said.
DisconnectDisconnect
As reported, household consumers in one village in Lviv region lost power due to a power outage at a 110 kV substation.
Situation at ZNPP
"The 330 kV backup line supplying the plant remains de-energized. The water level in the cooling pond is 15.54 meters. This is enough to meet the needs of the plant," the Ministry of Energy said.
Import and export
For the current day, electricity imports are projected at 2553 MWh. Exports to Poland, Romania, Slovakia, Moldova, and Hungary are also planned - up to 5298 MWh.
