The former commander of the Kyiv "Berkut" regiment has been sentenced to 10 years in prison for organizing the destruction of weapons and documents related to the shootings on Maidan. The court also ordered him to pay almost UAH 680,000 in material damages to the state.
In Kyiv, Donetsk and Dnipropetrovs'k regions, five people were detained for selling trophy weapons and explosives to criminals. Machine guns, assault rifles, grenade launchers and other weapons were seized.
