President Zelenskyy commented on Trump's idea to end the war in 24 hours. He emphasized that Ukraine will never agree to give up its territories, and no one person can force the nation to do so.

Commenting on US presidential candidate Donald Trump's idea to end the war in 24 hours, President Volodymyr Zelenskyy said that the question is at what cost and who will pay. He said this in an interview with the BBC, UNN reports.

Everyone will be happier if one person in the world, no matter if it's Trump or not... Let's say it's Donald Trump, can stop the war within 24 hours. The question is at what cost and who will pay

- Zelensky said.

When asked whether he believed Ukraine would pay, Zelenskyy replied: “No, I don't mean that his idea is to make us pay. But if he wants to do it in 24 hours, the easy option would be to push us to pay. Because it is clear how to do it. It means simply stopping and giving it away, forgetting. No sanctions, no nothing. Putin will take the territory, Putin will create a victory for his society, for the world, and that's it. No one will go to jail, nothing will happen. No responsibility, no tribunal, absolutely nothing, zero. Yes, this is a very simple way, we will never go for it. Never”.

Zelensky said that there is not a single person in the world who can force Ukraine to do this.

Because it is not about one president or ten people, it is about the nation

- Zelensky emphasized.
