Zelenskyy meets with Umerov on the development of the Defense Forces

Zelenskyy discussed with the Defense Minister the development of the Armed Forces - "specific things that need to be done."
President Volodymyr Zelenskyy held a meeting with the Minister of Defense on the development of the Ukrainian Defense Forces. Zelensky said this in a video message, UNN reports.
"During the day, I have meetings. In particular, with the Minister of Defense. On the development of our Defense Forces. Specific things that need to be done. And we will do them. We will do them. To maintain our strength and to have the necessary arguments in a conversation with our partners. Increasing Ukraine's own forces and maintaining the consolidation of the world is our task. The task of the entire state and everyone who works for it," Zelensky said.
He also noted that today was the final meeting for the year on negotiations on security guarantees for Ukraine.
"The team of the Office, the government... There is a basic declaration of the Group of Seven - the Vilnius Declaration. It has already been supported by 30 states. Bilateral work on guarantees has begun, and we will continue next year," Zelenskyy said.

Zelenskyy reported earlier that Ukraine has very clear goals for 2024 in terms of artillery, drones, missiles, and armored vehicles.
