The success of the "Kursk operation" saved many lives and protected the Ukrainian Sumy and Kharkiv regions. This was stated by President Volodymyr Zelenskyy during a meeting with soldiers of the 36th Separate Marine Brigade named after Rear Admiral Mykhailo Bilinskyy and the 82nd Separate Airborne Assault Brigade of Bukovyna, who are participating in the operation, reports UNN.

The Head of State heard reports on the course of hostilities in the defense zone and, in particular, on the tactics of North Korean units.
He also spoke with commanders about the training of servicemen, the development of unmanned systems, the use of drones on fiber optics, and cooperation within the "Drone Line" project
He noted that he had the honor to personally thank the soldiers and award them with state awards.
"All of Ukraine is grateful for your courage and resilience," the President added.
