President Zelenskyy met with Czech President Pavel in Washington, D.C., to discuss Ukraine's membership in NATO, artillery ammunition supplies, and EU accession, and to thank him for his support.

On the sidelines of the NATO summit, President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy met with President of the Czech Republic Petr Pavel, emphasizing his support for Ukraine's path to NATO membership and victories in the war.
The leaders agreed on positions ahead of the NATO-Ukraine Council meeting and discussed the Czech initiative to supply artillery ammunition to Ukraine and new sources of funding. Ukraine also hopes to soon start bilateral screening meetings with the EU for accession to the European Union.
