Zelenskyy discusses Ukraine's defense needs with British Prime Minister Sunak
President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky said on Thursday that he had held a telephone conversation with British Prime Minister Rishi Sunak, the parties in particular discussed priority needs for improving the defense capabilities of the Ukrainian Defense Forces and strengthening the Ukrainian air shield, writes UNN.

He also said that he and Sunak discussed further macro-financial support for Ukraine and coordinated steps on the eve of important international events.
"They separately touched on issues of Euro-Atlantic integration of Ukraine, noted the importance of the October meeting of advisers on national security and foreign policy in Malta, and discussed further steps to implement the Ukrainian peace formula," the Head of State said.
