"Warning of dangerous meteorological phenomena in Kyiv region and the city of Kyiv. Thunderstorm in the next hour until the end of the day on July 22. And the level of danger is yellow," the Ukrainian Hydrometeorological Center warned on Facebook.
What to do during a thunderstorm: tips
According to the KCSA, experts recommend avoiding being near billboards, power lines, large trees, and not parking vehicles near them during a thunderstorm.
It is worth closing the windows of houses tightly, removing objects that could fall out from unglazed balconies and loggias, KCSA said.
