The new head coach of the Ukrainian national team, Andrea Maldera, has announced the squad for the friendly matches against Poland and Denmark. Two newcomers will join the national team: defender Oleksandr Romanchuk and midfielder Hennadii Synchuk. Additionally, Andriy Yarmolenko returns to the squad, having last played for the national team back in March 2025, UNN reports with reference to the UAF.

Goalkeepers: Anatoliy Trubin (Benfica), Andriy Lunin (Real Madrid), Dmytro Riznyk (Shakhtar), and Ruslan Neshcheret (Dynamo).

Defenders: Illia Zabarnyi (PSG), Mykola Matviyenko, Valeriy Bondar (Shakhtar), Taras Mykhavko (Dynamo), Eduard Sarapiy (Polissya), Vitaliy Mykolenko (Everton), Oleksandr Romanchuk (Universitatea).

Midfielders: Oleh Ocheretko, Artem Bondarenko, Yehor Nazaryna (Shakhtar), Yehor Yarmoliuk (Brentford), Heorhiy Sudakov (Benfica), Mykola Shaparenko (Dynamo), Ruslan Malinovskyi (Genoa).
