Zelenskyy announced the creation of a Pantheon for the reburial of national heroes from abroad. The project aims to consolidate the people and honor history.

Work has begun on creating a Pantheon of prominent Ukrainians, and the scope of the relevant tasks is extremely large. This primarily concerns the return of historical figures to Ukraine. This was announced by President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy after a meeting on strategic issues of our Ukrainian memory policy and honoring national heroes, UNN reports.
Work has begun on creating a Pantheon of prominent Ukrainians. The scope of the relevant tasks is extremely large and requires the involvement of various state institutions, Ukrainian society, and diplomatic contacts with many of Ukraine's partners.
According to him, this primarily concerns the return of historical figures to Ukraine – those figures who are of fundamental importance for the formation of Ukrainian national consciousness and for state-building. It also concerns the policy of heroes in Ukraine, worthy memorialization of various stages of history, and the full return of all Ukrainian historical memory.
We must create a special place for the value consolidation of the Ukrainian people, which will certainly be important for future generations of Ukrainians and will preserve the memory of the generations of Ukrainians who created our culture and our state.
The Head of State thanked the entire team already involved for their meaningful work in fulfilling this task.
