In the first quarter of 2026, the average salary in Ukraine was 28,885 hryvnias. At the same time, the incomes of men and women differ significantly, as the average salary for women is only 73% of that of men. The largest gap was recorded in the fields of art, sports, entertainment, and recreation. This is reported by UNN with reference to the State Statistics Service of Ukraine.

According to preliminary data, for the first quarter of 2026, the average monthly salary in Ukraine was 28,885 hryvnias. At the same time, the average salary for men was 33,798 hryvnias, while women received an average of 24,791 hryvnias per month.
Thus, the ratio of women's to men's wages is 73%.
This means that the average income of women remains significantly lower compared to the average income of men.
