According to the Ministry of Education and Science's monitoring, the highest employment rates are in law and public administration, and the lowest are in software engineering and maritime transport.

The Ministry of Education and Science presented the results of monitoring the employment of graduates of higher and vocational education institutions after graduation in accordance with the state or regional order, UNN reports.

According to the monitoring results, the group of normal values of the percentage of employed and conditionally employed persons included the following:

  • Law and international law: 59,85%;
  • Public management and administration: 57,05%;
  • Education: 49.40%;
  • Agriculture and veterinary medicine: 47.91%;
  • Engineering (except shipbuilding): 47,86%.

The category below the usual percentage of employed and conditionally employed persons included:

  • Shipbuilding: 38,35%;
  • Philology: 30.39%;
  • Architecture: 28,73%;
  • Design, choreography and visual arts: 28,38%;
  • Computer science and applied mathematics (except software engineering): 26,17%.

Traditionally, low rates of employment and conditional employment are observed among specialties whose graduates are often employed abroad:

  • Software engineering: 19,17%;
  • Maritime and inland water transport: 10,65%
