Verkhovna Rada supports creation of a list of terrorist organizations

Parliament passed a law creating a list of terrorist organizations with 282 MPs voting in favor. The SBU will be authorized to maintain a list of organizations that pose a threat to state security.
Today, on December 18, the parliament supported the creation of a list of terrorist organizations (draft law No. 12102). According to MP Oleksiy Honcharenko, 282 MPs voted in favor of the document, UNN reports .
Main provisions of the draft law:
-A legislative mechanism is being developed to include organizations in the list of terrorist organizations.
-The list covers organizations that carry out terrorist activities on the territory of Ukraine or abroad, posing a threat to state security.
-Maintenance of the list is entrusted to the SBU, which now has a clear list of grounds for including organizations, which eliminates discrediting.
