"Russia's barbaric efforts to cut off electricity to millions of men, women and children continue unchecked. Our help is needed now," the diplomat wrote.

According to Ukrainian Energy Minister Herman Galushchenko, during the night attack on Ukraine, the Russians tried to strike at electricity generation facilities.
DTEK reported that Russian troops attacked three of the company's thermal power plants, causing serious damage to equipment.
