Prime Minister Shmyhal announced the launch of the Institute of Veterans' Assistants. The plan is to train 3,000 specialists by the end of the year, with UAH 2.9 billion budgeted for this purpose.
Prime Minister Denys Shmyhal said that the government has launched the Institute of Veteran Assistants to help soldiers adapt to civilian life. By the end of the year, it is planned to train about 3,000 such specialists, and the budget provides UAH 2.9 billion for this. Shmyhal said this during a speech at the VII International Veterans Forum, reports UNN

Our principle is convenient and fast services without bureaucracy. Structural units for veterans' policy are being set up in the regions and communities, because we define the framework in the center, and its specific implementation depends on how the local authorities work. We have launched the Institute of Veteran Assistants. These are specialists who will help soldiers adapt to civilian life. By the end of the year, we plan to train about 3,000 such specialists. The budget provides UAH 2.9 billion for this purpose, and the number of veteran assistants will grow in the future
