Unique diving rehabilitation for war veterans launched in Brovary

A diving rehabilitation program with internationally certified instructors was presented at the Veteran PRO Center. The first group of 8 participants will start classes in the near future.
A diving rehabilitation program for veterans and their families was presented at the Brovary City Veteran Center “Veteran PRO”. This was reported by UNN with reference to the Kyiv RMA.
Details
The initiative was implemented in cooperation with the Ukrainian Institute of Underwater Research. The RMA said that specialists have developed individual recovery programs for each participant, taking into account injuries, amputations and other needs.
At this Center, veterans are expected to experience the therapeutic power of diving, working with instructors certified by the international organization IAHD (International Association of Handicapped Divers), which has been helping people with disabilities overcome barriers in the water for more than 30 years.
Participants will receive biofeedback therapy sessions to help restore emotional balance. The program is designed for veterans with severe injuries, servicemen after trauma, family members of fallen heroes and internally displaced veterans
It is noted that currently a group of eight participants has been formed, and the first dives are planned in the near future
