The UN General Assembly adopts a resolution condemning Russia's human rights violations in the temporarily occupied territories of Ukraine, demanding an end to forced deportations and the return of Ukrainian children and civilian hostages.

The UN General Assembly has adopted an updated resolution condemning Russia's serious violations of human rights in the temporarily occupied territories of Ukraine, the Ukrainian Foreign Ministry has reported, UNN reports.

Ukraine's Foreign Minister Dmytro Kuleba welcomed the adoption of the document.

The updated UN General Assembly resolution specifically demands that Russia cease forced deportations and ensure the safe return of all Ukrainian children and civilian hostages. These are among the most heinous crimes and must be stopped
