Ukrainians warned about the temporary closure of the checkpoint on the border with Moldova: what to know

On November 21, 2024, from 8:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m., the power supply will be cut off at the Palanka-Mayaky-Udobne checkpoint. Citizens are advised to choose alternative checkpoints.
On November 21, the Palanca-Mayaky-Udobne checkpoint on the Moldovan-Ukrainian border will be suspended due to a power outage, the State Border Guard Service warned, UNN reports.

"The Palanka-Mayaky-Udobne checkpoint will suspend crossing operations. On November 21, 2024, from 08:00 to 14:00, technical work is planned, which will result in a power outage at the Palanka-Mayaky-Udobne checkpoint," the statement reads.
Travelers were urged to take this information into account and choose other checkpoints to cross the Ukrainian-Moldovan border.
