The Ukrainian boxing team won the European Youth Championships in Croatia. The Ukrainian athletes demonstrated impressive results, winning the first place in the team competition.

The best boxers on the continent were Taisiya Pokusay (52 kg), Anastasia Taran (70 kg), Maksym Zymenko (51 kg), Rasul Guliyev (57 kg), Artur Kuzmenko (63.5 kg), Mark Lomakin (67 kg), Nikita Zakharchenko (75 kg), and Nikolai Laktionov (86 kg). For his impressive performance, Maxim Zimenko (51 kg) was recognized as the best boxer of the European Championship.

Victoria Zakharchuk (60 kg), Yulia Stupakova (63 kg), Olga Pylypchuk (75 kg), Karina Zvereva (81+ kg), Alexander Zverev (48 kg), Maxim Chekin (54 kg), Bogdan Cheldyk (60 kg), and Oleg Gichva (71 kg) took the second step of the podium.

The Ukrainian team also won bronze medals: Solomiya Lyniv (48 kg), Bozhena Melnyk (54 kg), Angelina Nekrasova (66 kg), Yelyzaveta Bezverhnya (81 kg), Ruslan Perezhylov (92 kg), and Oleksandr Slesarev (92+ kg).
