Ukraine is developing hybrid air defense systems that "already work on the battlefield" - Kamyshin
Kyiv • UNN
In cooperation with the United States, Ukraine has developed hybrid air defense systems, some of which are already operating at the front.
Ukraine is developing its own air defense systems - "large", "complex", "expensive", "long". This was announced by the Minister for Strategic Industries Oleksandr Kamyshyn during a briefing, UNN reports with reference to Suspilne.
"But in parallel, we are developing what we call hybrid air defense. These are quick solutions that will give us these results this winter," Kamyshin said.
The head of the Ministry of Strategic Industries emphasized that "the first solutions from the FrankenSAM project portfolio are already operating on the battlefield."
"When we were in the United States with the Secretary of Defense, we observed systems developed jointly by Ukrainian and American companies. But at the same time, they are now operating on our front line. They can protect critical infrastructure and cities. These solutions allow us to have our own rapid air defense," the official added.
