Ukraine harvested 32 million tons of new crop, started harvesting sugar beet

Agrarians harvested 28.59 million tons of grain and 3.42 million tons of oilseeds on an area of 8,040.3 thousand hectares. Odesa region is the leader in grain harvesting, while Khmelnytsky region has the highest yield.
Ukrainian farmers have already harvested 28.59 million tons of grain and 3.42 million tons of oilseeds, and have begun harvesting sugar beets, UNN reports, citing data from the Ministry of Agrarian Policy.

"Ukraine has harvested 32.02 million tons of new crops on an area of 8,040.3 thousand hectares. Agrarians in Vinnytsia region have started harvesting sugar beet, which has been dug up on an area of 200 hectares," the statement said.
In total, the company harvested 28.59 million tons of grains and 3.42 million tons of oilseeds:
- wheat - threshed on an area of 4,858.9 thousand hectares, harvested 21.74 million tons;
- barley - 1,399.2 thousand hectares were threshed, and 5.5 million tons were harvested;
- peas - threshed on an area of 207.6 thou hectares, harvested 458.5 thou tons.
- Millet - 11.9 thou hectares threshed, 20 thou tons harvested.
- Buckwheat - 4.3 thou hectares threshed, 6.2 thou tons harvested.
- rapeseed - 1,227.7 thousand hectares were threshed, 3,361.9 thousand tons of seeds were harvested.
Agrarians in Odesa region are the leaders in grain harvesting, with 1080.7 thousand hectares threshed.
The highest yields were recorded in Khmelnytsky region at 65.5 c/ha.
7 regions are already harvesting sunflower, which has been threshed on 46.7 thou hectares. Four regions have started harvesting soybeans, which have been threshed on an area of 6.6 thou hectares.
