Turkish parliamentary committee approves Sweden's accession to NATO

The Turkish Foreign Affairs Committee approves a bill to ratify Sweden's accession to NATO.
The bill to approve the ratification of the Protocol on Sweden's accession to the North Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO) was approved by the Foreign Affairs Committee of the Grand National Assembly of Turkey, UNN reports with reference to Anadolu Agency.
The Committee on Foreign Affairs met under the chairmanship of Fouat Oktay.
At the meeting, Deputy Foreign Minister Burak Akçapar briefed the committee on Sweden's accession to NATO, and the MPs expressed their opinions on the draft law.
After the debate, the draft law on approving the ratification of the Protocol of Accession of the Kingdom of Sweden to the North Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO) was adopted by the Foreign Affairs Commission of the VRU.
