Turkish scientists are working on a project that will help detect spacecraft and satellites flying over the country that could be used for espionage purposes.
Prof. Tahsin Çagri Şişman, Vice-Rector of the Turkish Aeronautics Association (THK) University, noted that information about suspicious satellites is not available on the space-track.org website.
Therefore, Turkey is looking for other methods of tracking such space objects that could threaten national security.
As part of this project, Turkish specialists will use AI to track spy satellites and determine their orbits.
The project we have developed will allow us to track the country's spy satellites, determine their orbits using artificial intelligence, and know the time of their flight over Turkey. Thus, it will be possible to hide those actions that we do not want to be noticed by spy satellites
