In a post on his Truth social platform, Trump wrote:"Keith has an outstanding military and business career, including serving in critical national security positions in my first administration.
He added that the pair "will make America and the whole world safe again.
In July, Kellogg presented the newly elected president with a plan to end the war in Ukraine.
Previously, former US presidential advisors Keith Kellogg and Fred Fleitz suggested depriving Ukraine of American support and arms supplies until Kyiv agrees to peace talks with Russia. Ukraine may try to regain lost territories, but it will have to do so diplomatically, the WSJ noted.
Kellogg was chief of staff to the White House National Security Council during Trump's 2017-2021 presidential term and national security adviser to then-Vice President Mike Pence.
