Three officials of the Dnipro City Council were notified of suspicion of abuse of office. Due to improper repair of protective structures, the territorial community suffered losses of almost UAH 4 million.
Law enforcement officers served suspicion notices of abuse of office to three officials of the Dnipro City Council. They drew up and approved defective acts on the current repair of civil defense facilities. The improper repairs caused almost UAH 4 million in damage. UNN reports this with reference to the regional prosecutor's office.

Deputy director, head of a department and director of a municipal enterprise of the city council were served with a notice of suspicion
They are charged with abuse of office committed by prior conspiracy by a group of persons (Part 2 of Article 28, Part 2 of Article 364 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine).
According to the investigation, in 2023, a department of the Dnipro City Council and a contractor company signed a number of agreements on the routine repair of civil defense facilities.
The city council officials drew up and approved defective acts without including the installation of a waterproofing coating in the scope of work. As a result, the shelters suffered devastating damage, and the actual repairs need to be restored
As noted, this caused almost UAH 4 million in losses to the territorial community of Dnipro.
In the course of the authorized searches, documentation, draft records, and cell phones were seized.
