Those liable for military service will be able to independently choose the place of passing the military medical commission

From now on, you can choose the place of military medical examination yourself, but not for everyone. Currently, this function is only available to those who plan to sign a contract for service in the ranks of the Armed Forces. This was announced by Deputy Minister of Defense Kateryna Chornohorenko on the air of the telethon, reports the correspondent of UNN.

How the system of electronic referrals to the military medical commission works for those liable for military service

We are making the military medical examination fast, convenient and transparent for people. The most important task now is for it to start working as a service, so the Ministry of Defense has developed a reform of the military medical examination, the first stage of which is an electronic referral, in order to save time on queues in the TCC and obtain a paper referral. 

According to the official, the "second step" will be that the conclusions of the military medical commission will also become digital.

That is, after the inspection, it will not be necessary to keep a paper decree in order to enter data into the register. Both stages are aimed at closing the need for physical visits to the TCC and reducing corruption regarding decisions on fitness and unfitness for service

You can choose the address of the medical facility yourself 

When asked whether a person liable for military service can apply for a military medical examination himself or whether only the TCC can do this, Chornohorenko replied:

We have now made this option possible for citizens when they are ready to sign a contract with the Armed Forces. Now you can come not only to the place of registration, as before, but also independently choose the address of the medical facility for undergoing a military medical examination. For example, to undergo an examination in the area where you actually live, or at the base of the future military unit

The demand for electronic referrals is confirmed by the numbers. Currently, more than 32,000 electronic referrals to the military medical commission have been generated through Reserve+. And the Reserve+ application is already used by 4 million Ukrainians in total. Every third deferral in Ukraine is also processed through this application.

UNN reported that Ukraine launched an electronic military medical commission office. From April 1, 2025, the digital format will become mandatory for all military medical commissions, replacing paper documents.
