Advisor to the Minister of Defense Serhiy Sternenko stated that this summer will be the worst for the Russian Federation due to the increasing intensity of strikes. Ukraine is hitting targets, including the oil refinery in Omsk and factories in Tatarstan.

Ukraine is striking deep into Russia at an unprecedented pace using long-range drones and Flamingo missiles produced by the Ukrainian company Fire Point. The intensity of strikes will increase, and this summer will be the worst for Russia. This was stated by the adviser to the Minister of Defense of Ukraine, Serhiy Sternenko, reports UNN.
"Indeed, I am firmly convinced that this summer will be, I say will be, because there are still many events ahead, it seems to me, the worst for the Russian Federation in the entire history of the Russian-Ukrainian war. Because of the intensity of air strikes, the number of drones we launch daily, and in addition to this, we have started launching missiles of our own production.
And the pace at which this is happening is unprecedented and there is a tendency to increase," Sternenko noted in an interview with "Suspilne Novyny".
Earlier, President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy reported that there is now not a single Russian oil refinery that Ukrainian weapons cannot reach. As an example, the Head of State cited the strike on the oil refinery in Omsk, Siberia, almost 2,500 km away, using modernized FP-1 drones produced by the Ukrainian company Fire Point. According to him, Russia has lost its territorial advantage - the deep rear.
Among the most important targets are also the Antipinsky Oil Refinery in the Tyumen region, the Moscow Oil Refinery, the two largest Bashneft plants in Ufa, the Orenburg Gas Processing Plant, as well as the TANECO and TAIF-NK refining complexes in Tatarstan.
The Titan-Barricades plant in Volgograd, which produces artillery systems, launchers, and components for missile systems, was also struck. Subsequently, the SBU struck the Lukoil-Nizhegorodnefteorgsintez oil refinery in Kstovo (Nizhny Novgorod region), which is one of the largest oil refining enterprises in the Russian Federation.
The Ukrainian military carried out most of the strikes using FP-1 long-range strike drones and Flamingo missiles produced by Fire Point.
Adviser to the Minister of Defense Serhiy Sternenko also expressed hope that Ukraine will have even more drone and missile capabilities to attack Russia and respond to its attacks on the territory of Ukraine.
