193 Ukrainian soldiers were released from Russian captivity, some of whom were held in Chechnya. The fighters are being provided with medical assistance.

193 of our defenders have returned from Russian captivity; they are already receiving medical and other necessary assistance. In fact, this is the second stage of the Easter exchange. This was announced by the Head of the Office of the President, Kyrylo Budanov, as reported by UNN.
I welcome 193 more Defenders of Ukraine to their native land! Another exchange, carried out by the Coordination Headquarters team on behalf of the President of Ukraine, was successful – 193 of our defenders have returned from Russian captivity; they are already receiving medical and other necessary assistance. In fact, this is the second stage of the Easter exchange.
According to him, among those freed are many young Ukrainian soldiers born in 2000, soldiers and officers who defended our state on all fronts, and there are wounded. Some of those released were illegally imprisoned in Chechnya.
My congratulations to all our warriors and their families who have waited for this day. As I said, we continue to liberate our own – despite everything. Separately, I would like to congratulate two Ukrainian fighters released today, who are also celebrating their birthdays today, April 24! Vadym! Ivan! I wish you the quickest possible recovery and robust health! Thank you for your service and defense of Ukraine!
Budanov also thanked partners from the United States of America and the United Arab Emirates for their assistance.
We continue to work to return all our prisoners to Ukraine, so that every family that continues to wait hears the good news – "Finally home." Glory to Ukraine!
