Andriy Yermak, Head of the Office of the President of Ukraine, discussed the situation on the battlefield and Ukraine's defense needs with National Security Advisor Jake Sullivan. They also discussed preparations for the upcoming Ukraine-U.S. arms production conference in Washington, DC.

Andriy Yermak briefed Jake Sullivan on the situation on the battlefield and the current needs of the Ukrainian Defense Forces.

In particular, he spoke about a recent trip with President Volodymyr Zelensky to the frontline regions: Kherson, Zaporizhzhia, Mykolaiv, and Kharkiv.
He also spoke about visiting the frontline positions of Ukrainian defenders who are repelling the Russian aggressor. According to him, during the meeting with the Head of State, the soldiers conveyed specific requests for weapons and ammunition necessary to protect Ukrainian lands from the occupiers.
The interlocutors also discussed preparations for the first Ukrainian-American arms production conference to be held on December 6-7 in Washington, D.C., in pursuance of the agreements between President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy and U.S. President Joseph Biden.

The Head of the Presidential Office also spoke about the implementation of the Ukrainian peace formula, in particular, about the tenth meeting at the ambassadorial level, which took place on Friday at Boryspil International Airport.
