Over the past day, there were 202 combat engagements; the Russians launched 96 airstrikes and used more than 10,900 drones. The enemy’s losses amounted to 1,240 military personnel.
During the past day, August 21, there were 202 combat engagements at the front. The enemy carried out 96 airstrikes, during which it dropped 280 guided aerial bombs, UNN reports, citing the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

The occupiers also used 10,953 kamikaze drones and carried out 3,136 strikes on населated areas and positions of Ukrainian troops, 35 of them using multiple-launch rocket systems.
The enemy shelled the settlements of Bachivsk, Korenok, Neskuchne, Ryzhivka, Tovstodubove, Ulanove, Volfyne, Hirky, Budky, Kruz hok, Kucherivka, Shpyl, Stepanivka, Rohizne in Sumy region, and Zoria in Chernihiv region. Tovstodubove was hit by airstrikes.
The aviation, missile forces and artillery of the Defense Forces struck 12 areas where enemy personnel were concentrated, two artillery systems and two enemy communications systems.
On the North Slobozhanskyi and Kursk fronts, four combat engagements were recorded over the past day. At the same time, the aggressor carried out 71 strikes on the positions of our troops and settlements. The enemy also launched four airstrikes using ten guided aerial bombs.
On the South Slobozhanskyi front, Ukrainian units repelled 19 enemy attacks. The invaders attempted to advance toward the settlements of I zbytske, Radkivka, Kovalivka, Okhrimivka, Karaichne, Boch kove, Budarky and Mytrofanivka.
On the Kupiansk front, the enemy carried out one offensive action toward Podoly.
Attempts to break through the Ukrainian defenses were repelled on the Lyman front, where the occupiers attacked five times toward the settlements of Lyman, Shyikivka and Cherneshchyna, and in the area of Novoselivka.
On the Sloviansk front, the enemy carried out 12 assault actions in the areas of the settlements of Kryva Luka and Pyskunivka, and toward Rai-Oleksandrivka and Mykolaivka.
On the Kramatorsk front, Russian invaders carried out six offensive actions toward Nykyforivka, Yurkivka, Mykolaivka and Fedorivka Druha.
Twenty-five attacks were recorded on the Kostiantynivka front. The invaders conducted assault operations in the areas of the settlements of Kostiantynivka, Ivanopillia, Illinivka, Novoselivka, Dovha Balka, Novomykolaivka, Shakhove and Sofiivka, and toward the settlements of Vilne, Pavlivka, Kucheriv Yar and Mykolaipillia.
The enemy carried out 23 attacks on the Pokrovsk front. The occupiers attempted to advance in the areas of the settlements of Bilytske, Udachne, Muravka and Novopidh orb odnie, and toward the settlements of Hannivka, Novyi Donbas, Svitle, Shevchenko, Vasylivka and Serhiivka.
On the Oleksandrivka front, the enemy carried out three attacks in the areas of Novе Zaporizhzhia, Maliivka and Yalta.
On the Hulyaipole front, the occupiers attacked the positions of Ukrainian defenders six times. The enemy attempted to advance toward the settlements of Tsvitkove, Verkh nia Tersa and Hirke.
On the Orikhiv front, our defenders stopped three attempts by the enemy to advance in the areas of Plavni, Mali Shcherbaky and Lukianivske.
On the Dnipro front, the enemy conducted no assault operations over the past day.
Over the past day, Russian invader losses amounted to 1,240 personnel. Six tanks, six armored combat vehicles, 64 artillery systems, two multiple-launch rocket systems, three air defense systems, 11 ground robotic systems, 1,792 unmanned aerial vehicles, 435 vehicles and six units of special equipment belonging to the enemy were also neutralized.
