Stella Artois recognized the film work of a young Ukrainian film director with the unique award - "Stella Award".

Last Saturday the closing ceremony of the 15th Odesa International Film Festival was held. The OIFF festival took place from July 12 to 20, 2024, in Kyiv. This year's festival was sponsored by Stella Artois brand from AB InBev Efes Ukraine.

During the closing ceremony, the brand presented the stellar award "Stella Award" and honored the film work of a young Ukrainian director. The award recognizes talented filmmakers whose contributions to the arts are in line with Stella Artois' commitment to beauty and excellence.

The winner of the "Stella Award" was the director Vladyslav Marisyk with his debut film at the Odesa International Film Festival - the theatrical novel "Si Vis Amari, Ama!", which was created in 2023 with his own funds and efforts.

The film impresses with subtle humor, ironic aesthetics, creative finds and an inspiring story about that one chance in a life that everyone should take advantage of.

The honorary award from Stella Artois was presented by the marketing director of AB InBev Efes Ukraine Kateryna Sakharnova.

"The film "Si Vis Amari, Ama!" in its essence reminds people of the need to appreciate and always remember the importance of fast passing, but sincere moments of life, so the tape will resonate with the feelings of the audience for a long time," Kateryna said in her speech.

In addition to the award itself, the brand gave the winner the opportunity to enjoy dinner in the circle of the creative team that participated in the creation of the theatrical novel. A dinner that can be shared over a glass of Stella Artois.

The OIFF team made every effort to ensure that this year's 15th Odesa International Film Festival took place at the proper level, despite the difficult conditions and challenges.

"In order to give Ukrainians 9 days of the festival: viewings and discussions, our team has done a lot of work during the year. And all this in tough conditions", - said General Director of OIFF Anna Machuh.

We are proud that, together with Stella Artois, we gave the audience the opportunity to watch Ukrainian and international film premieres and hits, joining the largest film event of the year.
