A draft resolution on the appointment of Oleksiy Chernyshov as Deputy Prime Minister has been registered in the Verkhovna Rada. He is proposed to be appointed as the head of the new Ministry of National Unity of Ukraine.
A draft resolution on the appointment of Oleksiy Chernyshov as Vice Prime Minister of Ukraine - Minister of National Unity of Ukraine was registered in the Verkhovna Rada. This is reported by UNN with reference to the card of the resolution.
As noted by People's Deputy Yaroslav Zheleznyak, the vote on the appointment will take place today.

Deputy head of the Servant of the People faction Yevheniia Kravchuk told the UNN journalist that at the faction meeting, the MPs recommended that the Prime Minister submit the candidacy of the chairman of the board of NJSC Naftogaz of Ukraine Oleksiy Chernyshov for the position of Minister of Unification of Ukrainians.

President Volodymyr Zelenskyy stated that the candidacy of the head of the Ministry of Unification of Ukrainians will be submitted for approval by the end of this year.
Zelenskyy, speaking about the new ministry, stated that it should ensure sufficient power of global Ukrainian unity.
"Millions of our people in other countries, their connections and relations with Ukraine, the protection of our common interests as a nation - all this will be the responsibility of the new institution. In fact, it should be a ministry of Ukrainian unity and counteraction to Russian influences on Ukrainians. First of all, abroad," Zelenskyy said.
Prime Minister Denys Shmyhal stated that the main goal of the Ministry of Ukrainian Unity is to return 7.5 million people to Ukraine not by coercion, but by prospects. For this, work needs to be done both at the political level with the political leaderships of the partner countries that have accepted refugees, and directly with the Ukrainian community.
