The Kolotylivka-Pokrovka checkpoint on the border with Russia was closed on August 6. This corridor was used to return people from the occupied territories to the government-controlled areas.

Today, on August 6, the only checkpoint "Kolotylivka-Pokrovka" on the border with Russia was closed in Sumy region. This corridor was used by people to return to the territories controlled by Ukraine from the occupied territories, UNN reports with reference to Suspilne.

"Today the checkpoint was closed, but there are no details yet. We have warned people to let them know," said Kateryna Arisoy, a volunteer at the Atmosphere aid station.

She said that she did not know for how long the checkpoint was closed.
