For example, while on August 1, 87 patients were in Kyiv hospitals, as of August 20, there were already 130 patients. Moreover, 34 people were admitted to medical institutions over the past day. This is almost twice as many as the number of hospitalized people the day before. There is also an upward trend in the incidence rate among children

- Valentina Ginzburg noted.

She added that another fact of concern is the increase in the number of patients requiring oxygen support and connection to ventilators.

The Department of Health once again reminds of the need to comply with anti-epidemic safety measures.

Try to wash your hands more often or use sanitizers whenever you touch common objects. If possible, avoid staying in crowded enclosed spaces and use protective masks if necessary

- Valentina Ginzburg urged.
