The Ministry of Economy expects GDP growth of 1% from the initiatives of the "Made in Ukraine" program. The National Cashback program, which starts on September 2, could add up to 0.25 percentage points to GDP growth.
The Ministry of Economy expected GDP growth of 1% from all the initiatives of the Made in Ukraine program. As for the National Cashback program, forecasts show up to 0.25 percentage points of growth. This was announced by Deputy Minister of Economy of Ukraine Nadiia Bihun during the presentation of the study: "The attitude of Ukrainian consumers to the National Cashback program", UNN reports.
"The National Cashback program is part of the Made in Ukraine program. This is a large program with many initiatives. For this year, we generally expected a 1% GDP growth from all the initiatives of this program", said Bigun, commenting on the expectations from the economic development programs that are being implemented.
Specifically for cashback, our forecasts showed that it should be up to 0.25 percentage points of growth. Accordingly, it will depend on how many people will be involved and how actively this program will be rolled out and how popular it will be from the point of view of consumers
