This week, the first 300 trucks of food for the Ukrainian Armed Forces were delivered under contracts signed by the State Logistics Operator for the second quarter of 2024.

This week saw the first deliveries of food to the Armed Forces of Ukraine under contracts signed by the State Logistics Operator for the second quarter of this year. Suppliers sent the first 300 trucks with food to military units across Ukraine. This is reported by the press service of the DOT, UNN writes.

"This week, the first deliveries of food from the suppliers contracted by the State Logistics Operator for the 2nd quarter took place. The first 300 trucks have already been sent to military units across Ukraine. Further deliveries will take place regularly, once a week, according to the requests received by the DOT from military units.

Therefore, the quality of the products will be controlled in stages, in particular, during audits by the DOT team at suppliers' warehouses, as well as directly when the military accepts the goods," the statement said.

The DOT reminded that there were contracts with suppliers to provide the Armed Forces with food in 13 sectors covering all the regions of Ukraine under its control. In particular, contracts were signed with the following suppliers: "Cherkasy Meat Processing Plant, Busky Cannery, Tviy Khlib, Food Grand, and Yug Prod Trade.
