On August 24, the Defence Intelligence of Ukraine confirms explosion of ammunition depot in Voronezh region of Russia. More than 5,000 tons of ammunition were stored at the facility, and detonation is ongoing.
Ukrainian reconnaissance men blew up a large ammunition depot near the town of Ostrohozk in Russia's Voronezh region, the Defense Intelligence of Ukraine reported on Saturday, UNN reports.

"On August 24, 2024, the DIU's military intelligence conducted a successful fire attack on an ammunition depot located near the village of Ostrohozk, Voronezh region of Russia. The ammunition depot belonged to the "West" group of the Russian Armed Forces," the DIU reported on social media.
As noted, the occupiers' artillery and tank shells, their small arms ammunition and surface-to-air missiles were stored on the territory of the military facility - a total of more than five thousand tons of ammunition.
"The detonation continues! Festive roar - up to the heavens! We continue the struggle! Happy Independence Day of Ukraine, citizens! Glory to Ukraine!" - the DIU emphasized.
