Artillery shelling of border areas continues. Today, in the Sumy region, the settlements of Korenok, Neskuchne, Volfyne, Vilna Sloboda, Ulanove, Kharkivka, Bunyakine, Bezsalivka were affected; in the Chernihiv region — Klyusy. Sumy and Tovstodubove were subjected to airstrikes.
In the North-Slobozhanskyi and Kursk directions, the occupiers stormed the positions of our defenders six times, carried out one airstrike, dropping two aerial bombs, and conducted 30 shellings of settlements and positions of our troops.
In the South-Slobozhanskyi direction, the invaders tried to break through the defense in the area of Starytsia and towards the settlements of Izbystske, Kutkivka, Sheviakivka, Khatnie, and Ambarny seven times. Three combat engagements are still ongoing.
In the Kupiansk direction, the enemy attacked towards Kupiansk and Kurylivka three times.
In the Lyman direction, Ukrainian soldiers repelled four attempts by the invaders to advance towards the settlements of Lyman, Ozerne, and in the area of Novoselivka. One attack is ongoing.
In the Sloviansk direction, the Defense Forces repelled 13 enemy attacks towards the settlements of Kryva Luka, Rai-Oleksandrivka, and in the areas of Riznykivka and Zakitne. Three combat engagements are still ongoing.
In the Kramatorsk direction, the Russian invaders carried out two attacks in the area of Nykyforivka.
In the Kostiantynivka direction, our defenders repelled 17 attacks in the areas of the settlements of Kostiantynivka, Ilinivka, Ivanopillia, Sofiivka, and towards Vilne and Kucherovyi Yar.
In the Pokrovsk direction, since the beginning of the day, the occupiers have tried 17 times to push our soldiers from their positions in the areas of the settlements of Dorozhnie, Sukhetske, Rodynske, Hryshyne, Udachne, Novoserhiivka, and towards Shevchenko.
In the Oleksandrivka direction, the enemy tried to advance towards Vorone once.
In the Huliaipole direction, the Defense Forces repelled five enemy attacks towards the settlements of Hirke, Tsvitkove, Vozdvyzhivka, Verkhnia Tersa, and Charivne.
In the Orikhiv direction, the enemy stormed the positions of our defenders twice in the area of Plavni.
In the Dnipro direction, no offensive actions by the enemy were recorded.
In other directions, no significant changes in the situation are currently occurring. No attempts by the enemy to advance were recorded, the General Staff summarized.
