The suspect in the deaths of four people in the underpass arrived at court in a wheelchair. The lawyer stated that his client is in serious condition and has five children.

During the court hearing, the lawyer for the head of the Baptist church, Pavlo Pleshyvtsev, who crashed a Mercedes into an underground passage, reported on his client's health condition and provided information about his life circumstances. This was reported from the courtroom by a correspondent for UNN.

The suspect himself arrived in the courtroom in a specialized wheelchair. According to the suspect's lawyer, Yevhen Melnychenko, an Ilizarov apparatus was installed on his client. The defense attorney also emphasized that his client is currently unable to move independently.
"My client is not very happy to have remained alive," stated Yevhen Melnychenko.
Furthermore, during the hearing, the lawyer stated that the suspect is originally from the occupied territory. Also, according to him, Pavlo Pleshyvtsev worked as a driver for a humanitarian convoy and is a father of five children. This was reported from the Shevchenkivskyi District Court by a correspondent for UNN.
The court is currently continuing to consider the issue of a preventive measure for the suspect.
