Prosecutors in Italy are considering possible manslaughter charges related to the sinking of the Bayesian superyacht as the body of British tech entrepreneur Mike Lynch's 18-year-old daughter, Hannah, was found, UNN reports citing The Guardian.

Details

After four days of searching, the body of Hannah, the last missing person from the luxury yacht, was found on Friday, according to the Italian coast guard.

Vincenzo Zagarola of the Italian Coast Guard said that the search for Hannah was "not easy and not fast," comparing the sunken yacht to "an 18-story building full of water.

According to the Italian news agency Adnkronos, the Termini Imerese prosecutor's office is considering charges of shipwreck, disaster and multiple murder in connection with the sinking. This is punishable by up to 12 years in prison.

Prosecutors are expected to hold a press conference on the matter in Terminus Imeres on Saturday afternoon.

Adnkronos also reported that investigators believe that the sinking of the yacht began at the bow, and then the vessel slowly turned over to the right side.
