The Cabinet of Ministers allocated UAH 470 million for backup heat supply to two settlements: what is known

The Government of Ukraine has allocated over UAH 470 million to ensure backup heat supply to Burshtyn and Dobrotvor. The funds will be used to purchase additional energy equipment after the only heat producers were damaged by missile strikes.
At an extraordinary meeting, the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine allocated more than UAH 470 million to provide backup heat supply to two settlements. This was announced by the Prime Minister of Ukraine Denys Shmyhal, UNN reports.
"At an extraordinary meeting, we allocated more than UAH 470 million to ensure backup heat supply to two settlements. We are talking about Burshtyn in Ivano-Frankivsk region and Dobrotvir in Lviv region," said Shmyhal.
According to him, as a result of large-scale missile strikes in these cities, the only heat producers for residential buildings and social institutions were significantly damaged.
"To ensure that the heating season goes smoothly, we are allocating funds from the reserve fund, which will be used by local authorities to purchase and install additional energy equipment. We are preparing for winter together!" - he summarized.
