From now on, postgraduates and doctoral students will have to pass a final exam in languages. This was announced by Member of Parliament Oleksiy Goncharenko, writes UNN.
In the 3rd year of postgraduate studies, a state exam in Ukrainian and a foreign language for academic purposes will be compulsory. It will be conducted using external independent evaluation technologies
Also, according to the MP, from now on, the entrance exam in foreign languages is mandatory for everyone, even if the applicant has an international certificate of foreign language proficiency.
Everyone must take a foreign language exam upon admission. The rule that allowed not to take the entrance exam in a foreign language if the applicant had an international certificate (TOEFL, IELTS, Cambridge, etc.) is canceled. Now, regardless of certificates, everyone takes the exam
