The Ukrainian soldiers captured and shot dead by russian troops were members of the 82nd separate airborne assault brigade of the Airborne Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. The bodies were evacuated from the battlefield.
The bodies of Ukrainian soldiers who were captured and shot by russian war criminals have been evacuated from the battlefield. This was stated by the Command of the Airborne Assault Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, UNN reports .

The Ukrainian Airborne Forces Command emphasizes that such actions of the russians are yet another proof of the occupiers' violation of the laws and customs of war.
Being on the line of combat in one of the districts of Zaporizhzhia region, in violation of Article 3 of the Geneva Convention relative to the Treatment of Prisoners of War of 12.08.1949, as well as other norms of international humanitarian law, (Russians - ed.) deliberately killed people protected in armed conflict. Namely, 3 servicemen of the 82nd separate airborne assault brigade of the Airborne Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, who were discharged from service as a result of being captured (hors de combat) after receiving wounds and contusions of varying severity
It is noted that this criminal offense has been registered in the Unified Register of Pre-trial Investigations, and the case file will be transferred to the International Criminal Court. Sooner or later, war criminals from the russian Federation will be held accountable for their atrocities before the International Criminal Tribunal.
The dead soldiers were evacuated from the battlefield.

The Office of the Prosecutor General suspects the shooting of Ukrainian prisoners of war by the invaders from the russian 76th Guards Air Assault Division .
The head of the Department for Combating Crimes also noted that the Prosecutor General's Office has established the data of the dead Ukrainian military. This information will be made public after verification.
