US House Speaker Mike Johnson maintains his stance on aid to Ukraine, demanding separate votes on future aid and border security, ahead of a meeting with President Zelenskiy.

Speaker of the US House of Representatives from the Republican Party Mike Johnson said that his approach to helping Ukraine has not changed on the eve of his meeting with President Volodymyr Zelenskyy, UNN reports with reference to CNN.

House Speaker Mike Johnson told reporters "not at all" when asked if there had been any changes in his approach to helping Ukraine ahead of his first one-on-one meeting with President Zelenskiy.

Johnson said that any future aid to Ukraine should also include border security and should be voted on separately from aid to Israel, which led to an impasse with the Democratic-controlled Senate.
