In Kyiv region, a man was detained for fatally shooting his landlord during a conflict in the village of Pukhivka, the regional police reported on Saturday, UNN reported.

The police received a report that he had found the body of his acquaintance in the yard without signs of life.
Police found out that "during a conflict with the 62-year-old victim, from whom he rented an apartment, the suspect fired about five shots in the head, neck and chest." "After the crime, the attacker broke into the garage, stole the victim's car and drove away in an unknown direction," the police said.
All relevant police services were oriented to establish the location of the suspect. The 32-year-old native of Rivne region was found and detained.
The defendant was served a notice of suspicion on the facts of premeditated murder, illegal possession of firearms and illegal seizure of a vehicle committed with breaking and entering (Part 1 of Article 115, Part 1 of Article 263, Part 2 of Article 289 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine).
The court imposed on the suspect a measure of restraint in the form of detention.
