The situation with jobs in the agricultural sector is critical due to mobilization and the failure to recognize small farms as important. There is a large shortage of tractor drivers, combine operators, and agronomists.

Due to the failure to recognize small and medium-sized farms as critical to the economy and mobilization, the situation with jobs in the agricultural sector is critical, said Dmytro Solomchuk, MP and member of the Verkhovna Rada Committee on Agrarian and Land Policy, during a briefing, UNN reports .

The situation with human resources in the agricultural sector is catastrophic, especially in small and medium-sized farms, which have not been recognized as critical. A large number of employees of such farms have been mobilized

He says that there is a great shortage of tractor drivers and combine operators are critically lacking.

There is a shortage of agronomists. If a person with a similar profession posts a job ad, 100 employers may call him or her within a day and offer everything possible to reduce competition

- He adds.

According to him, this affects production technologies, and if we want to switch to organic products, there should be much more people.
