Prime Minister Shmyhal and the French delegation discussed increasing aid to Ukraine, defense cooperation, reconstruction, and the confiscation of Russian assets for Ukraine's needs.
Prime Minister Denys Shmyhal and a delegation from the French National Assembly headed by Speaker Yael Bron-Pivet discussed initiatives to increase aid to Ukraine, defense cooperation and reconstruction, UNN reports.
"France remains among the leaders in supporting Ukraine," Shmyhal wrote.
He thanked for the significant assistance during the meeting with the delegation of the French National Assembly headed by President Yael Bron-Pivet.
"We discussed French initiatives to increase assistance to our country, defense cooperation and reconstruction. I informed the partners about the consequences of the shelling of energy infrastructure and noted that it is necessary to strengthen air defense to protect people," Shmyhal said.
He also emphasized the importance of confiscating Russian assets for Ukraine's needs.
"We count on the assistance of French parliamentarians in this matter. We appreciate our high level of bilateral cooperation," Shmyhal said.
